Puppy Photography in Lynbrook, NY: Samson

Just take a look at this adorable puppy! His face is just so mushy, squishy, and wrinkly… I just had to squeeze it!

Oh… I didn’t introduce you… sorry I must have been lost in the moment. This is Samson, a Bullmastiff that just turned 3 months old this past Saturday. He’s already nearly 40lbs and isn’t even close to growing into his massive paws.

His dad said he felt like he was walking with a celebrity when he brought Samson on his first trip to Petco recently.  Heads were turning in every aisle. Nobody could resist him. What, you think you could?

Hope you enjoy this sneak peek of Samson’s photos!

Bird Photography in Putnam Valley, NY: Yoshi

I feel horrible! Here I am photographing everyone else’s pets, and time has just flown by. It’s been such a long time since I took pictures of my own little buddy that I haven’t even introduced him here.

I’d like you to meet my bird Yoshi! He’s a 5-year-old orange winged amazon who loves to chat. What’s his favorite thing to say?

Among the dozens of expressions and sounds he can make, “I wantta treat,” is what comes out of his beak the most. I’m sure you can guess why. That’s okay though, because “I love you” comes in second for his most frequent expressions.

Summer Reading Buddy Program

Over the summer, I was asked to do some portrait and event photography for Westchester’s Public-Private Partnership for Aging Services. I photographed many of the volunteers that contribute to this organization as well as a regular event called the Summer Reading Buddy Program.

Volunteers filled the second floor of the Yonkers Riverfront Library to help students who need to work on their reading skills. It was wonderful to see so many seniors giving their time to aid the community’s youth.

Here are a few shots from the Summer Reading Buddy Program. Or you can check out the entire  WPPP Annual Report.

Dawn’s Maternity Shoot

Here are a couple of photos from Dawn’s maternity shoot. They were long overdue; I can’t believe how time flies. Callie was born on September 7th. Congratulations to the new parents!

Child/Infant Photo Session: Jack

I had so much fun with Jack during his photo shoot!  He showed me how he learned to go under water in his new pool, and demonstrated his newly acquired scooter skills. Then he made me really jealous when he showed me his new red Mustang (that’s my favorite car)!

I was really happy that Je-ma decided to get in on a few shots. Don’t they look adorable!

Doggie Photoshoot: Charlie

I met Christie and her Bichon, Charlie, at a nice park in Pawling. Charlie is hesitant with strangers, but since Christie brought me some ice cream to give to him, it wasn’t long before he became my newest buddy.

I had a ton of fun with this dog! I love when people dress up their dogs. Hope you enjoy the preview Christie.

The Mercuri Family Photoshoot

I met Kelsey, Rob, and their two beautiful daughters at Trophy Point in West Point for their photoshoot. I was very excited to do my first  family at such a gorgeous location. Here are a few preview shots; hope you enjoy!

Doggie Photoshoot: Dexter

Dexter is a 7-year-old German Short Haired Pointer and Great Dane mix. You’d never know he is middle-aged if you met him; he has the energy of a 2-year-old puppy!

When I first met Dexter we played fetch in the Peekskill Dog Park. I couldn’t get over how much he loved the game, and how he literally threw the ball back at me with a toss of his head.

Maybe one day I can take pictures of Dexter with his girlfriend (yes folks, this handsome fella is taken — by a Pitbull who lives close by). Thanks Allison, I hope you enjoy your preview.

Doggie Photoshoot: Maximus

I just visited the nicest dog park I’ve ever seen. Any dog owners who live in the Poughkeepsie area have to check out Overlook Park. The dog park is a big grassy area surrounded by a pond. It’s fenced in, but most of the fence blends into the bushes behind it, so it doesn’t have that cage-like quality present at most of the other parks I’ve been to.

This is where Mimi suggested I take pictures of her dog Maximus. He’s a two-year-old German Shepherd with a lot of spirit. Here’s a little preview of Max’s photos:

Doggie Photoshoot: Natasha & Cuba

I met Phillip and Catherine at the Sprout Brook Dog Park in Cortlandt Manor to photograph their two dogs. They are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met.

Natasha is a Caucasian Mountain Dog and, believe it or not, she is only 10 months old. Catherine and Phillip rescued Cuba a couple of months ago, and they think he’s around two or three years old. Natasha is a big, fluffy, mush, and Cuba is a sweetie, but he definitely has a mind of his own.

Here are a couple of shots from the day. Catherine & Phillip: I’ll be mailing your CD within a week, hope you enjoy this sneak peek.

Enjoy this story? I'd love you forever if you'd share it! =)
